Halifax Heritage has developed a range of community group walks, tours and projects aimed at raising pride and sparking interest in the wealth of Halifax heritage whilst enhancing wellbeing, social cohesion and citizenship, Including:
- We have developed links with local schools, community groups, adult learning services and heritage organisations to customise projects to compliment syllabus, wellbeing and other aspects of learning with a focus on heritage;
- Focus on citizenship and community cohesion nurtured through a shared benefit from heritage
